the question, griff, what do we know now? welcome at sandra, the former president if you were to release that information it would be helpful but this is quite extraordinary come of the first time a former president s home has ever been rated. everybody wants to know is what were they looking for, sandra, and how do we get there? to answer that question you have to go back to january after trump left office when the justice department began its now months long investigation into trump s handling of white house records and whether he mishandled classified information. in february the national archives sent it in a letter to the house oversight committee they have received 15 boxes voluntarily from mar-a-lago up white house records, including some documents of the now required retired national archivist david ferrero says were marked as classified, national security information within the boxes the archivist also saying they notified doj were in communication with former trump stuffers
largest, most secure election in modern history. but part of playing president is sort of this phony exertion of executive privilege, and i wonder if you think it s just a loser in court where he s filed this suit. now, he s not banking on it being a loser. he s banking on it taking time, and the reason he did bring it now, something did happen to trigger it. under the legal scheme, the archivist of the united states, someone no one s ever heard of, david ferrero, gave him 30 days notice last wednesday and said, biden has told me that there s no executive privilege here and as carol says, that should be definitive. and i m going to be turning it over. here s your 30 days to look at it. he s determined that he s got to try to somehow stop the music and get the courts involved now before it gets turned over because once it s in congress s hands, it s going to be too late.

The results of the 2020 presidential election that was held on November the 3rd, 2000 and 20 were officially certified on November the 23rd 2020 by the state canvassing board composed of Governor Kay Ivey, Attorney General Steve Marshall and Secretary of State John Merrill. The votes cast in our state were certified as follows with the candidates in the order of the most votes received. Donald J. Trump, Republican 1,441,170. President elect Joseph R. Biden, Democrat 849,624. Jo Jorgensen, Libertarian, 25,176. There were various write in votes totalling 7312. State of Alabama has nine Electoral College votes, one for each of our seven Congressional District s and two at large. Representing are United States. Sen
standing here now, i cannot help but remember that cold and blustery day on january 19, 197071 we took our leave of washington. and following president president carter s generous remarks and tribute to my husband and all he had done to heal our country, we found ourselves leaving the capital watching bridget walking past a row after row of capitol police. for many years as we were here, they had been more than just friends to us. in a very real sense, they were like an extended family. as all-america came in the last year during the tragic events, they not only protect us but they stand guard over democracy itself. today i am glad to see some of them here as well as all our friends and so many of you who have enriched our lives beyond any measure that you can possibly know. and to you, mr. president, for all your wonderful remarks and for everybody who honors us with their presence here, i thank you for this very special occasion. it is one, of course, that we will treasur
