investigation of hunter biden who has been under federal investigation for coming up four years now at the end of this year. sandra. sandra: thanks, david. the white house meanwhile denies that they had any advanced notice on this raid on the former president s home. now to peter doocy at the white house where a briefing took place. what are you hear something. we re hearing that they don t want to comment. they won t tell us when the last time president biden spoke to the attorney general or whether or not there s been a briefing or any kind of communication between the president and the attorney general since news of this search warrant being executed in florida broke early last evening. republicans are hounding the biden administration right now accusing this president of using the doj and the fbi to target
warrant know about what s going on. sandra: does it surprise you at all that the white house is staying so i length on that? peter doocy in that exchange. all he got back from karine jean-pierre is that we were not going to comment on this. it s a criminal investigation that is currently happening. we re not weighing in. it doesn t surprise me. i don t know what they could say. they can t say biden knew about it and approved it. if they said biden didn t know anything about it, well, he was out of the loop. doesn t surprise me. but this is not going away. if the white house thinks that they can dodge questions from the podium and not have merrick garland or have somebody explain what s going on, they re making a huge miscalculation. the american people will demand to know what led you to raid the former president s house. sandra: they did say they didn t have advanced notice of the raid. but nothing short of that. thanks to both of you. tom, shannon, thanks very much.
