To make the meters easier to use. And for anybody who wants or needs to use them. And they are easier to use, because they accept all forms of payment. And including credit and debit cards and the sfmta parking cards as well as pay by phone and coins, and have the larger display screens which is a concern that we heard a lot from the

On fell and oak to keep cars from driving on the sidewalks parallel and parking in the middle of the sidewalks. They did it all the time in turning lanes and absence of curb side parking on scott street and will do it again unless enforced. Theyre a Small Business and a Bicycle Tour Company in San Francisco located in hayes valley. Ive led tourists every day on fell street on bikes. My other issue is that if you work for the city and you did not join the service in San Francisco, you cannot take advantage of the City Contracting you for your active duty military years. Well, i served and fought right along with San Francisco marines and i would like to see that changed. Im probably the only veteran in the city to say that, but im saying that because it not only serves up the veteran right that served on active duty, but it also helps the city by moving people along. I served active duty for three years. That would move me out of the system. And id like to move along and retire so that i can devote more time to helping veterans because i can see where theres a lot of need and a lot of areas where veterans can be helped, particularly in the areas of employment. They had come forward with an idea to charge for parking which is not best practice and wouldnt have raised enough money and wouldnt have served a Good Transportation purpose.
