RI Chief Justice names new disciplinary chief counsel PROVIDENCE A longtime staff member of the Supreme Court Office of Disciplinary Counsel will take the helm of the office that helps investigate and prosecute Rhode Island lawyers for alleged misconduct. Supreme Court Chief Justice Paul A. Travers ascended to the deputy post last year after working as an assistant disciplinary counsel.
