Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and some northern leaders led by a prominent Islamic cleric, Ahmad Gumi, are currently in a closed-door meeting at the Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

The Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, Prof Adewale Musa-Olomu, on Monday, talked tough when an enraged father who lost his child as a result of alleged negligence, beat a doctor to a pulp.
Our correspondent gathered that the enraged father reportedly threw caution to the wind on Friday after losing his 15-month-old daughter.
He reportedly hit the doctor on the head several times with a chair before the doctor was rescued.
A statement issued by the Head of Public Relations and Information of the hospital, Segun Orisajo, indicated that the incident happened on Friday around 12 am at the Children Emergency Room of the hospital.
