it s been a big embarrassment for president obama. still, we learned today that fremont-based solyndra wants to pay thousands of dollars in bonuses to some of its remaining employees. anne makovec on why the solar panel maker says it needs to keep these workers happy. anne. reporter: despite all the heyoffs at slipped layoffs at solyndra, 82 people still work here and the company wants to keep them around. frankly, it has to be a depressing place to work. so how are they going to keep them there? they are calling it the key employee incentive plan. that s not right. they are supposed to give it to everybody. reporter: mohammed is one of 1100 employees laid off last august at solyndra, a solar company that only months earlier seemed on top of the industry. and now the few workers who got to keep their jobs may be getting tens of thousands of dollars in bonuses. for mohammed, it seems like a slap in the face. they are supposed to give to everybody, every, single perso

campus. the plan is to implement it in stages, and then all tobacco to be banned by 2014, including cigarettes and chewing tobacco, indoors and outdoors. also prohibited any tobacco sales or ads in all university- run buildings. the rules were laid out by the president of the system to the chancellors in an email this week. here s some stats of smoking right now in california. right now less than 12% of adults, 8%. uc students and 10% of uc employees. all those figures are lower than the national average. this is going to be on a campus- by-campus basis. the chancellors will have the right to implement fines on their campuses for violaters but the president says he would rather everybody take a more educational approach and trying to offer people programs to get rid of cigarettes completely in their lives. back to you guys. thank you, anne makovec in san francisco. family and friends are searching for a 15-year-old girl from hayward who has been missing since tuesday. dar
outside the high school with more details. good afternoon. reporter: good afternoon. e-mails are going out to parents this afternoon. also new information on the investigation. detectives pulled an all- nighter and arrested the teacher, a popular math teacher right here in the parking lot. police say 40-year-old marie johnson was cuffed as she exited her car on her way to her job at granada high school yesterday. when she saw us and the suits were there, the detectives, i think she realized what was going on. reporter: the victim was a boy who was 14 years old at the time. the unidentified student was in johnson s class but wasn t at the time of the arrest. my daughter, she feels horrible because she says she is really nice with everybody. reporter: johnson is facing 24 counts of having oral sex and intercourse with a boy under the age of 14. she is in jail with a bond placed at $1.8 million. most of the sexual contact, police say, took place in johnson s car. we
