I am also enjoying reading heirs of the founders. Im about halfway through now. It talks about three different characters. First of all, danny webster, john calhoun and henry clay. The early 80s. It is actually relevant to what we are going through today. They were all competitors, so to speak. All members of the house of representatives. Talking about tariffs.
