Front-line workers, people living in multigenerational households and adults age 16-44 with underlying health conditions now are eligible for COVID-19 vaccines in Lane County.
The Oregon Health Authority announced that 20 Oregon counties submitted letters that signaled their intention to immediately offer COVID-19 vaccinations to the next eligible groups, allowing them to move ahead to the group previously set to be eligible April 5.
“Moving up vaccination in these counties will enable us to vaccinate our frontline workers more quickly while enabling counties with adequate supply to fully utilize their allotment of COVOD-19 vaccine,” OHA Director Patrick Allen said.
