The massive crack down by Punjab Police since Saturday last (March 18, 2023) on Khalistan secessionist elements led by Amritpal Singh (30), chief of “Waris Punjab De”, in co-ordination with various central agencies and backing of Union government, comes as a silver lining in an otherwise dark political horizon where narrow political considerations, coupled with intra party internecine.
The Punjab Police are still hunting for radical Sikh leader, Amritpal Singh who has managed to give the security mechanism the slip on more than one occasion.
Central agencies are busy tracking the Khalistan sympathiser's decade-old movements to Thailand, with officials saying an investigation is needed to ascertain whether Singh was involved in some kind of prostitution or if his 18 visits in 13 years were because of his personal relationships
Amritpal s alleged advisor and fund provider Daljit Singh Kalsi and three others who were arrested on Saturday were flown to Assam from Punjab on a special flight and were being kept at the Dibrugarh Central Jail, the police said
