FMCG giant Dabur has increased its rural footprint, driving demand for its brands by nearly 400 bps compared to urban areas. The company has increased investments in consumer activation in rural areas and launched newer affordable and rural-specific packs to cater to these markets. CEO Mohit Malhotra noted that Dabur s rural distribution is the highest in the industry, giving it a distinct advantage in driving rural growth.
Dabur Q4 Results: Dabur s revenue from operations in FY24 was at Rs 12,404.01 crore, up 7.58 per cent, as against Rs 11,529.89 crore a year ago. "Strong execution of our Power Brand strategy, Increased premiumization, and distribution footprint expansion coupled with the benefit of our stringent cost reduction actions helped Dabur to report a steady performance during the fourth quarter and the full year 2023-24," it said.
The revenue from operations of the homegrown Ayurveda major jumped 5.3 per cent YoY to Rs 2,814.64 crore in the March 2024 quarter. Its topline came in at Rs 2,672.80 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal.
