The revenue from operations of the homegrown Ayurveda major jumped 5.3 per cent YoY to Rs 2,814.64 crore in the March 2024 quarter. Its topline came in at Rs 2,672.80 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal.
Dabur said demand trends remained sluggish during the March quarter as the company is expected to report mid-single-digit revenue growth. The inorganic revenue growth which was to the extent of around 2.3% in the December quarter on account of the Badshah acquisition is now factored into the base.
Since the FMCG player has positioned itself to maximise on the rural sector, the counter will be closely watched to see if any announcements during the interim budget 2024.
With pricing growth remaining subdued due to price increases in the base year, the growth during the third quarter is largely volume-led. Early signs of revival in consumption are visible with improving trends in volumes, the company said in a filing.
