Wins over Iona Prep (N.Y.) and Fordham Prep (N.Y.) followed for the Friars, which are now the no-doubt top team in the national rankings. The Flyers bounced back from a tight loss to St. Anthony’s to defeat Delbarton (N.J.) 8-6. Charles Balsamo led with four goals and one assist, Ben Bonafede had one goal and one assist, Mac Rodriguez added a pair of helpers and Alex Zepf made 10 saves.

NORTHEAST Coulter Mackesy, Brunswick School (Conn.) In a pick-your-poison stacked Brunswick School attack, Mackesy has been particularly venomous in the first six games of the season. The Princeton-bound senior has 19 goals and seven assists in six consecutive victories for the national powerhouse.
