Patil and Nikhil Neharkar during a surprise check at a nakabandi point. They had then recovered 21 remdesivir injections from them. After further investigations, the police found out that Dr Panchal was the brain behind the crime.

Amidst this, Wakad police arrested the trio selling these in the black marker and seized at least 21 remedesivir injections worth Rs 10 lakh from them. The two arrested accused besides the store owner work at two different hospitals.
