arrested three people, including a medical store owner. As per the police investigation, the shopkeeper was supplying remedesivir injections to the other two accused to sell at a higher price.

COVID-19 cases still high in the city, a huge shortage of remdesivir injections for treatment is being experienced for several weeks now. Amidst this, Wakad police arrested the trio selling these in the black marker and seized at least 21 remedesivir injections worth Rs 10 lakh from them. The two arrested accused besides the store owner work at two different hospitals.
