Eli waller, a student, came down with respiratory problems two weeks ago. The coroner confirmed his cause of death is directly linked to enterovirus d68. The virus has sickened more than 500 people in 43 states. Almost all of them children. The virus attacks rapidly and suddenly. That evening he was asymptomatic and fine and the next morning he had passed. Health Officials Say they will likely never know how and where he was exposed to the virus. This mans son attends Yardville Elementary School where another child was being tested for the virus. Of course its on everybodys mind. Its human nature. People are nervous. Theyre scared. The School District says its added extra staff to disinfect the schools, doing what it can to alleviate fears and stop the spread of virus. Eli was a triplet with two sisters. His parents have asked for privacy. Another meeting is tomorrow at 7 00 p. M.
