The state reported more than 15,000 new coronavirus cases is. The Positivity Rate over the last 14 days is that 5. 4 . As of tonight, the number of people hospitalized for covered stands at more than 5700. A live look tonight at dublin, oakland and san jose. Exactly 5 hours from now a curfew will go into effect for much of the bay area because of the surge in cases. Here are the counties impacted, every bay area county except for marin, San Francisco and san mateo but that could change. The stayathome water will be in effect from 10 pm until 5 am. What is allowed . You can buy groceries, pick up restaurant takeout orders, walk your dog, visit Healthcare Providers and other essential services. I dont think it will be very effective. Rules go into effect, aimed at stopping the effect of covid. The stay at home order is not as restrictive as the one in march. But it applies to all counties in the purple tier. That means all bay area counties except for three. That could change if the counties slide from red to purple. They say its a small price to pay to curb the spread of the virus. This was absolutely bustling today with people shopping, dining, and enjoying live music.
