This morning, skies are clear out there, but we have seen the return of a little bit of cool coastal air. That is helping us out at least this morning. You can see the evidence of that through the golden gate. Just a little bit of fog, a very, very shallow marine layer thats going to burn off quickly. So while weve got to enjoy it, we are seeing much lighter winds than yesterday. And that means less of that warm, dry air pushing out to the coast. Temperatures in the 50s to 60s currently 59 conquered in oakland at 62 while santa rosa and nevada each at 59 right now we are seeing a much cooler morning than yesterday. So like i said, enjoy
Where what we are looking at some sunshine out there across the bay this morning. You did see a little fog earlier on right under the golden gate bridge. It was a very, very shallow marine layer that is easily burned off. Now. And thats why were warm things at least that offshore wind is relaxed. This does provide some relief to the coast in tomorrow morning as well. Sunday morning for mothers day. Little bit of morning fog will help to at least moderate temperatures closer to the bay. Todays daytime highs are going to really warm right up. You never know. Looking at our current temperatures are still actually feeling really comfortable 60s and 70s. This is a bit cooler than we were at this point yesterday, Half Moon Bay down 11 degrees, oakland, 8 degrees cooler from the same 0. 24 hours ago this afternoon, though, we turn things around a little bit for inland areas. Police first reported the shooting just before 6 oclock this evening. Officers did not share any details about a suspect or why the shooting happened. But they are urging drivers to avoid that area. Oakland International Airport has a new name and it is causing controversy. Port commissioners unanimously approved the rebrand to San Francisco bay International Airport earlier today.
