A little cooler by oakland and hayward and Half Moon Bay. Thats because of the change of the winds. Were back to that on shore flow by the coast. We still have a bit of that offshore flow. San francisco fire says this is a 51 unit building with more than 100 residents in there. And several people have been evacuated and then evaluated by medical personnel. 2 people have been taken to the hospital. The building is 4 stories. Its located in japan town on fillmore street, just north of geary boulevard. People are being asked to stay away from this areas. Theyre still working to get the situation figured out. It is fixed, but it did lead to some huge problems for riders starting earlier this morning, bart had to shutter 6 stations. Shut down 6 bart stations in the east bay on the red and orange lines between richmond and macarthur shuttered 7 hours friday morning due to mechanical problems. The issue starting around 05 00am, we cant send trains through saying we need to cabling and then hopefully well build to get Trained Service back. And then once that the service restores. Well, deputies florida are defending a deadly shooting of a young air force Service Member inside of his own apartment to do want to warn you. The governor says will protect key programs. One he acknowledges comes with its challenges. This is a this is a sizable deficit. Verner gavin newsom. Theyre not mincing words about his proposed budget for the coming fiscal year. A budget that per newsom comes with a projected 27. 6 billion dollar deficit. That figure is much more optimistic than that of the nonpartisan legislative Analysts Office or who earlier this year projected the state faces a 73 billion dollar deficit. Newsom believes that projection was way off because he anticipates the state will take in more tax revenues than previously anticipated to balance the budget. Newsom says hes taking action on several fronts, including the withdrawal of more than 12 billion dollars in the states reserves over the next 2 years. Hes also proposing more than 18 billion dollars and actual cuts including reductions for programs on broadband access, water, storage and state and local Public Health departments. He also plans to save hundreds of millions of dollars in what he describes as belt tightening. That includes a proposal to freeze the filling of about 10,000 vacant state jobs. Is this what i want to know . But the alternative the you know, we can we can eliminate our expansion health care. We can eliminate wages. We can limit. We do furloughs into layoffs. We can do a lot of things i want to do those things. As for whether he plans to raise taxes. The governor flatly said no on spending priorities. A florida man is recovering after falling into shark infested waters in the bahamas. 24 yearold marlon wakeman slipped while trying to jump onto docked boat in a marina.
