And in open court, he admitted to the judge he failed to protect and serve his community by creating flyers that helped get his political ally elected to the San Jose City council. He painted the then candidate as a compnist sympathizer and she lost the election by 20 votes. He pleaded no contest to one felony count of false impersonation. The judge in his speech within the last few minutes said that other people in other cases with the same charges have been sentenced to community service, like picking up garbage off the freeway. On monday Police Released a timeline of the arrest. Get off me, yo. Reporter gray was taken into custody around 8 40 a. M. , seen in cell phone video provided by the familys attorney. Sometime between this moment and paramedics being called less than an hour later, grays spine was nearly severed. The 25yearold succumbed to those injuries sunday. What we dont know and what we need to get to is how that injury occurred. Reporter in the days that followed, hundreds have taken to the streets, peaceful but persistent in their search for answers. Were very, very concerned this is a pattern here in baltimore city.
