2nd person dies from weekend plane crash in Cullman County

The pilot critically injured in the weekend plane crash in Cullman County has died.
Cullman County Coroner Jeremy L. Kilpatrick said Frederick Dawson “Noah” Holloway died Monday night at the hospital. He is the second fatality from the Saturday crash.
The single-engine aircraft crashed Saturday evening in a wooded area about half a mile west of the airfield at Cullman Regional Airport, according to the airport’s general manager, Ben Harrison.
It’s unclear who was piloting the plane or what caused the crash. The Federal Aviation Administration is currently investigating.
Victim in deadly Cullman County plane crash identified

Cullman County Coroner Jeremy L. Kilpatrick on Sunday identified the victim as John T. Sigman. Sigman was 70 years old and from Dyersburg, Tenn., which is about an hour and a half north of Memphis.
One other person was injured in the crash, and Kilpatrick identified him as Frederick Dawson Holloway, and said he goes by Noah. Holloway appears to have been the pilot in the crash. His condition is unknown, though Kilpatrick said he believes he is in the hospital.
It’s unclear what caused the crash, and the Federal Aviation Administration is currently investigating, Kilpatrick said.
