Thats more than a quarter of the overall number of people who have died in the uk with coronavirus related symptoms. That number stands at 41,020. Meanwhile, the Economic Impact of the crisis shows a sharp rise in the number of people claiming unemployment benefits. That number has soared to more than two million.
