All care home residents and staff in england are to be eligible for coronavirus testing regardless of whether they have symptoms, the Health Secretary, matt hancock, has said. It comes as figures show a third of all coronavirus deaths in england and wales are now happening in care homes. Data from the office for National Statistics show there were 2000 coronavirus care home deaths in the week ending the 17th of april. Thats double the previous week.
