Police were originally called out to a home on the citys Northwest Side for a report of a disturbance. Police say a man inside the home was threatening officers s en they arrived at the home. When police couldnt get the man to come outside, officers saw a fire erupt in the home. After breaking into the home to rescue the man, police say that man resisted the officers attempt to save him.
