Wynn Dixon has been named CEO of Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. Dixon has served as interim CEO and chief operating officer since January 2010. He has almost 25 years' experience in the health care industry and more than 35 years' experience in human resources.

A man told police he got into an argument at the Howmet plant that turned physical, saying he then pulled a gun from out of a chest bag and shot the man he was arguing with.
