The attackers chased them both down the sidewalk. They sprayed pepper spray in one victims face and stole the other kids cell phone. Most of the attacks were on residential streets. You know, youre just in awe because it doesnt usually happen. Its scary out there any more. You have to be aware of your surroundings. The suspects are young men in their teens or early 20s. All were wearing hoodies. And they got away in a dark sedan, possibly a dodge or a mazda. A mans dog is dead, the victim of a violent attack in San Francisco. Police say he tried to defend himself when four men broke into the building where he lives on 13th and coalinga. It happened about 1 a. M. A gun battle broke out. The homeowner was shot several times. And one of the suspects was killed. We talked to the general manager of a plumbing business that just bought that building. He was not involved but is now worried about retaliation. These people, they have families and friends and they see our vans in there because we we are doing the transition to move in, so they may think, you know, that person that shot him was affiliated with our company. Police say plumbing businesses are becoming common burglary targets because they contain valuable metals like copper and such. Three other suspects are in custody.
