Big cities. The cost of living is soaring in concord, and renters are pleading for help before they get priced out. The median price for rent has shot up 62 in concord in just the past decade. Spoke with some renters who rallied today, asking the city to give them a break. Tenants power. She says they are here to fight for housing justice in concord. Is actually a rally in support of lowering the rent and stopping unjust evictions in concord. Its the driver or passenger, that person was ejected from the car and then a second accident possibly involving gravel on the roadway. So they have to deal with all of that. And thats taking a lot of time. They want to make sure that the roadways clear and safe before they reopen it to the public. And ive seen this before. Ive seen chp officers drive as fast as they possibly can to that gravel site slam on the brakes just to make sure that their tires grip the road and theres no slippage, which is something they possibly might before they reopen the roadway to make sure that everybody will be safe so they would not be another accident after they leave the scene.
