Directors report, and line item 1 before we had to adjourn. Were going to pick up tonight where we left off, so its going to be the president ial report, commission report, and Public Comment. We want to make sure the public has an opportunity to comment on items from the august 19 agenda. So thats how were going to proceed, and then after that, we will continue the remaining items on the september 2 and tonights meeting, and once thats done, we will adjourn that meeting and begin september 2. Good afternoon. This is a reimbursement for cal training to relocate two poles they are putting into electrified cal trains. We have an easement. We dont own the property and the fee. We have the three and four line in the easement and want to be able to preserve in the future to run the four lines. We relocated the pole and were able to successfully come up with a way to do that. It has injured five people including three First Responders. And this morning weve got an update on the czu complex fire along the santa cruz and Santa Clara County border. The flames have scorched nearly 83,000 acres and it is 26 contained. One person killed in connection with the fire. Nearly 800 structures are destroyed. Okay. And so that entailed making sure i knew how to do policy and legislation and i understand how the process worked and the city worked. And the good news id been on commissions and other places. So i understood it. But i actually went back to school late in life, before i ran, to get my masters in public administration. And i ended up graduating from u. S. F. With honors, because i was committed to making sure that i was the best policymaker for the people that i represented. And im not suggesting that you do that.
