The lunch rush has slowed a bit during the pandemic. Owner david getting a boost from a donor. Going day by day, wondering how you are going to make rent, somebody comes with a check for 1,500 out of just the kindness of his heart, thats something very amazing. It is one of 16 downtown restaurants gifted money from a program called meals to martinez. I think a lot of people when they hear about this, it doesnt make sense to them, they feel it is too good to be true.
