Thats on the bay bridge just past Treasure Island. As you can see, speeds drop below 10 Miles Per Hour as you make your way across the span. Now, the backup continues to stretch into the maze. Right now just to go from the maze into downtown San Francisco over an hour. 75 minutes. Thats what our travel times are showing. And the backup continues to stretch along the eastshore freeway to el cerrito at this point. As you can see, traffic on the Richmond San Rafael bridge starting to see a lot of yellow, a lot of slowdowns, everyone using that as an alternate to get away from the bay bridge toll plaza. You do not want to be stuck in that backup. But take a look at the toll plaza over at the Richmond San Rafael bridge. You can see a backup we typically dont see delays at this hour over at the toll plaza.

Lets go over to sal. Steve, we have a look at some of the busy traffic we have seen, especially at the bay bridge. One of the things i want to tell you, the bay bridge is slow and ill tell you why. If you look at this picture, if youre brushing your teeth, look at this. This is what youre dealing with at the bay bridge and its because of a crash in San Francisco that slowed the meet are lights down at the toll plaza, slowing traffic on the bridge and so theres a backup there. It was not the worst thing in the world but it caused slow traffic and i would say you can add another 10 minutes to your commute, 10 or 15, and you should be fine. Again, it was not out there for that long but it definitely did a bit of damage to the morning commute getting in to San Francisco. This is a look at interstate 880.
