President trump abruptly called off peace talks with the taliban and afghan leaders at camp david. Mr. Trump says the talks w woul have taken place this past weekend but were canceled after a taliban bombing killed an american soldier last week in kabul. Laura podesta is here in new york. What is the status of the talks now then . Reporter well, at this point its not clear when negotiations with the taliban might resume. And democrats and republicans say thats a good thing. They dont think leaders of the taliban can come to be trusted to a Peace Agreement anyway. Last night around 9 00 she and the roommate had several of her coworkers over. The weather was nice. Four men and a woman on the balcony. They were standing and in chairs.
