very light snow now coming into western sections of maryland. i can t see where that is hitting the ground yet but it s on the way. it may be delayed from what we were thinking yesterday. it s looking like this snow begins to arrive in the metro area 10:00, 11:00, a couple of hours either side of 11:00 tonight is a good forecast for that. here is the bigger picture. the snowfall totals in the midwest have been impressive, between 4 and 6 inches. isolated areas between 7 and 8. it will be moisture starved by the time it gets here. there is a winter weather advisory that hasbeen issued in northern maryland and the counties on i-81. again, what we are expecting in the metro, general one to two inches of snow. it could be a little more up to the north and northwest. then down to the south, we may not have any snow at all or just a dusting. more specifically, we will talk about that in the forecast in a few minutes. see you then. metro meantime is working to stay on top of the

but it could make for a slick commute in the morning. gary mcgrady has the first forecast. we have been watching this come across the last couple of days. it dropped a lot of snow out to the west. by the time it gets to us, it will be moisture starved. this is what is coming at us. it s rain to the south. not quite cold enough there. but through west virginia, western sections of virginia we are seeing the snow. and light snow has crossed across 81. as it gets closer, it s having a hard time running into the dry air. the winter weather advisory is in place for montgomery, loudoun and up to the north of us. but in terms of what we are seeing now, it looks like we are talking maybe 1 to 2 inches of snow out there before it s said and done. the higher totals will be to the north of the metro and down to the south it looks like a dusting to maybe a little bit of accumulation down there. here in the district we are expecting an inch, northern sections up around two inches of sno

hello. i m bruce johnson in for j.c. hayward. new developments this the tiger woods saga. an ambulance responded to a 911 call at the florida mansion overnight. we have just learned that medics rushed his mother-in-law to the hospital and this afternoon she is listed in stable condition, but the incident keeps the media spotlight on woods and his marital problems. janet choi has the latest. reporter: the mother-in-law of tiger woods is in stable condition after rushed to the hospital overnight. paramedics responded to a 911 call brought elin woods mother to the hospital this morning. hospital spokesperson says she was having stomach pain. she is reportedly in the u.s. to with her daughter as she deals with her marital issues. the newly released police report raises questions whether woods got preferrial treatment after his accident. it says a trooper was denied a request to have the golfers blood tested for alcohol or drugs. the trooper wrote in his report that driver impai
