In West Hills, a creative couple’s collaborative renovation of a boxy ’90s home mixes merry and macabre, matching the aesthetic of the 1988 Tim Burton film.
Australia s highest-paid council boss earns more money than the prime minister and US president, it has been revealed. Brisbane City Council CEO Colin Jensen likely earns the most money out of any council chief in the country, taking home an annual salary of at least $700,000. By comparison, US President Joe Biden takes home a base salary of $519,000, and Prime Minister Scott Morrison an annual salary of $549,250. Both men s earnings are also trumped by the highest-paid council executive in NSW, City of Parramatta Council CEO Brett Newman, who earns $633,853. The council salaries have been highlighted by the NSW Office of Local Government, which looked at pay packages across the country in a bid to figure out if the payments in NSW should be curbed.

Rumors have swirled about the potential consequences of the vaccine for adult females, with screenshot of an âarticleâ titled âHead of Pfizer Research: COVID Vaccine is Female Sterilizationâ making the rounds on social media. However, Jerica Pitts, spokesperson for Pfizer, told national media outlets the post is inaccurate.
âIt has been incorrectly suggested that COVID-19 vaccines will cause infertility because of a shared amino acid sequence in the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2 and a placental protein. The sequence, however, is too short to plausibly give rise to autoimmunity,â Pitts said.
Pregnant women were not included in the Pfizer vaccine trial, and thus it is unestablished if there are any associated risks. While further research and studies are needed, the CDC states health experts believe that, given how the vaccine works, it is unlikely to be harmful to pregnant or lactating women.
