Colin Calderwood has been confirmed as the new manager at Nottingham Forest. Former Northampton boss Calderwood spoke to Town last week but decided against taking his interest any further after he was offered the management position at the City Ground.
TWTD understands that Newcastle United are targeting Bryan Klug to take over from Glenn Roeder as director of their academy. Klug is currently under consideration for a director of football role at Town alongside prospective new boss Jim Magilton.
Northampton manager Colin Calderwood will be named Nottingham Forest manager within the next few days after talks at the City Ground yesterday. The former Spurs cenral defender was interviewed by Town last week and was understood to be on the shortlist to replace Joe Royle at Portman Road.
