Great Hospice Duck Race to have over $14,000 in prizes By Jim Measel

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) â Over $14,000 in prizes will be given away this year during the 28th annual ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospitalâs Great Hospice Duck Race on June 5, 2021.
Up until last year, the event had been held at Waterworks Park. The 2020 race had to be cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event this year will be virtual.
The goal of the Great Hospice Duck Race is to increase awareness of hospice and raise money to support Coldwater Regional Hospitalâs hospice program.
The first prize is $2,021 in cash donated by Dutcher Funeral Home of Coldwater and Dutcher-Kolcz Funeral Home of Bronson.

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Butternut Ridge Beef is the newest member of the Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce.
The store is located at 69 West Chicago Street next to Craft Out Loud and they are open on Fridays and Saturdays.
Butternut Ridge Beef is a family-operated farm. Their products are regularly featured at the Broadway Grille and at Billâs Grille House at the Coldwater Golf Course.
The third generation farm produces and sells USDA certified beef. They pride their farm practices on never giving steroids, growth hormones or antibiotics to their beef.
