Good afternoon, im james torres. Its the friday kicking off memorial day weekend, and we already have some trouble in traffic. Behind me here is a caltrans camera that shows a big rig that caught fire over here on the right right hand side of this screen, there was a fire truck that was blocking some of those lanes. This is the westbound side of the bay bridge headed toward yerba buena island. If youre headed to San Francisco, three lanes of traffic are still moving at this point, but all of that behind it is moving pretty slow. Well take you live now at the bay bridge midway span, where you can see traffic is backed up quite a bit. Youd have to really get into the screen there because there is just a little bit of fogginess hanging out on top of the bay bridge.
