The fuel is drive and accessibility around here is near impossible. This fire started monday night when a building caught fire near Bear Creek Canyon road and deer creek road in Boulder Creek. Its 5 contained. It burned about 300 acres and four buildings. Not sure how many of those are homes. The fire is burning in steep terrain, dry fuel, leaves and brush. A lot of the strategy is to fight the fire from the sky with water drops and fire retardant. 150 homes are under evacuation orders today. One Business Owner told us he saw a fight break out with more than 12 people but doesnt know what led up to the brawl. To be honest with you, san jose and downtown san jose especially is not too known for its safety. Reporter this student says he has even seen people carrying weapons downtown. I have seen a lot of people with huge knives on their sides and things of that nature.
