TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – A productive final round of stroke play elevated Florida State Men’s Golf up to third place at the Jackson Stephens Cup on Tuesday. FSU enters Wednesday’s match as the No. 3 seed and faces No. 4 seed Arizona at the Alotian Club in Roland, Ark. The Seminoles shot 3-under in the final stroke play round, the second-lowest among the six participating programs on Tuesday. “I am happy for the players to see a good round and make a run at the championship match,” FSU Head Coach Trey Jones said. “It shows a lot about their pride and competitive spirit.” Senior Connor Futrell shot the round of the tournament so far for FSU, carding a 4-under 68.
