This morning when there was something lying on the side of the road. It turned out to be a mans body. Reporter minutes later officers arrived and confirmed a man in his 20s had been shot. He was found on the side of the road. Although violence in the hills is rare, it is not immune to body dump cases in which victims are shot somewhere else before their bodies are dumped in the hill. The bullet casings suggest the victim had been shot at that location. Neighbors said they were surprised by the violence given the neighborhood is not known for shootings or homicides.
