San mateo reports 80 cases, 14 more since tuesday. San francisco now has 51 confirmed infections. There are some suspected case, however, and the results of those tests have yet to come back. This is an opportunity to move in the right direction, to flatten the curve. This morning, oakland firefighters put out an Early Morning fire on foothill boulevard. We showed you this earlier today. It started at an empty house at 3 30 this morning. Crews heard an explosion and had to stay outside the home while fighting the fire. Six people from two neighboring homes had to evacuate as that fire started to spread. I jumped up and as soon as i jumped up i seen the whole flames on the side of my house. All these flames coming out. And then all my windows started popping out and my grandson was coming up the stairs and almost got caught by the blast. We just panicked and ran outside. Crews say they had that fire out in just about 40 minutes. There were no reports of injuries and the cause is still under investigation. Also, this morning, a fire at a home in daily city, that fire started around midnight. At one point, the flames spread to the second floor and the garage in the home. But theres a little bit out there after the recent rain. 40s on the temps here. A little cooler this morning. A couple garden variety showers might be filtering through. But were about done on this main low. But were associated with that low around monterey. I would think mainly to the east and to the south. 40s on the temps, a little quieter pattern over the next three or four days. Temps still below average but theyre getting closer. Oakland fire, sal. Yeah. That is actually no longer visible from the freeway. 34th and foothill. It was visible from 580 and 880 but the Fire Department has apparently knocked it down to parentally its no longer a traffic issue. Theres one at the dumbarton assistance line. Many calls are from people who bridge westbound at the high rise with an ambulance are homeless. Where do i find washing stations, showers, bathrooms . Dispatched. Theres also been southbound today, where do i find a place 880 at the warm springs off to charge my cell phone . Ramp. Pedestrian hit there. And also serious crash. The libraries are closed. We had a couple of earlier quiet on the streets. Crashes where people are that creates less activity.
