A 3. 3 magnitude quake hit about 5 00 a. M. It was about 13 miles north of healdsburg. No reports of injuries or damage so far. But what a way to wake up at least for those folks. And yesterday we were waking up to pounding rain across the bay area. Kari has a look at our forecast right now. That rain is getting lighter. This storm system is moving out but it was impressive. Now as we take a look at storm ranger, we are catching a break for much of the bay area. Still some lingering showers down around gilroy as well as around the napa area over toward Solano County. Another chilly start and its clear. Were not seeing the patchy dense fog throughout the week so we are starting out with a clear commute for you but look at these numbers. In the east bay were in the upper 30s in the next hour and then well see our temperatures gradually warming up, a lot of sunshine and it will be a nice day, our highs reaching into the mid to upper 60s this afternoon. Well, as we start to get into that heavy traffic hour of the day which is near the 6 00 a. M. Hour, we are getting reports of a new crash along highway 17, right after the alma bridge. The slow lane is blocked because of a crash. Anytime there is a crash that is blocking any of the delays it can cause heavy delays. Well, the bay bridge toll plaza metering lights have perhaps turned on in the last couple of minutes. I do see some slowing at the toll plaza, brake lights. As we look at the toll plaza itself the middle lanes are the first to stack up right on schedule. As we look at the map its not as severe as we often see.
