Across the state including the six large fires in the north bay mendocino and lake counties. Containment on those fires is between 73 and 96 . Cal fire is predicting it will have full containment by next tuesday. At least 42 people have died in the fires statewide. And 7,000 structures have been destroyed since the fires broke out the sunday before last. 15,000 people remain evacuated. Statewide. Preliminary estimates of losses exceed 1 billion. And that figure is expected to rise. 1,500 people evacuated, amend that. For a week and a half, its been the scene of fire trucks racing toward flames.
