Granite City man charged with aggravated stalking

EDWARDSVILLE A Granite City man was charged with felony stalking after multiple violations of a no contact order.
Thomas L. Bamford III, 44, of Granite City, was charged May 26 with aggravated stalking, a Class 3 felony.
The case was presented by the Granite City Police Department.
According to court records, between March 1, 2020 and May 25, 2021, Bamford allegedly violated a no contact order filed in Madison County.
Records show six separate incidents, ranging from him standing within 500 feet of the residence, entering the residence’s driveway, using a ladder to view into the residence, leaving Victoria Secret items at the home, and “violently” screaming and yelling while banging on the doors and windows of the residence.

EDWARDSVILLE Three Granite City residents face Class X felony charges after a large amount of methamphetamine was found in their possession.
Courtney M. Manninger, 27; Tonya M. Manninger, 42, and Scott A. Vilmer, 54, all of the same address on Stacey Drive in Granite City, were each charged May 26 with one count of unlawful possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, all Class X felonies.
The cases were presented by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.
According to court documents, on May 25 the three allegedly were found to be in possession of between 400-900 grams of methamphetamine, with intent to deliver.
