MURFREESBORO, TN - A long-time leader at the Heart of Tennessee Chapter of the American Red Cross in Murfreesboro has passed away. Madeline Methvin was an assistant director for 7-years and was part of the Red Cross as a volunteer in Rutherford County on the morning of 9-11. As many realize, the massive attack on U.S. soil in New York required extensive work from Red Cross Chapters across the United States, Methvin was one of many who volunteered to help.
