Access to the Parliament complex - a particularly high-profile issue after last week's security breach - will now be guarded by the Central Industrial Security Force, or CISF, the government has said.
In response to the recent security breach at the Parliament complex, the government has decided to entrust the "comprehensive" security of the complex to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). The CISF, a central armed police force, currently guards various central government ministry buildings in Delhi, airports, and other critical installations.
