Championship season has the Arkansas Razorbacks ready to defend their conference title at the SEC Outdoor Championships at the Ole Miss Track and Field Complex this Thursday through Saturday.
Arkansas hurdler Phillip Lemonious earned a loud ovation from the Jamaica fans at the 126th running of the Penn Relay Carnival on Saturday as he claimed the College Championship title in the 110m hurdles with a season best time of 13.48 seconds at Franklin Field.
Second day of action for the Razorbacks in the 126th running of the Penn Relays had Arkansas advancing to the final of the Championship of America 4 x 100 relay along with individuals Connor Washington and Phillip Lemonious on Friday.
Arkansas returns to the Penn Relays Carnival this weekend as the prestigious meet will be held for the first time since 2019 due to covid. Festivities for the 126th running of the Penn Relays will include a Wall of Fame induction on Saturday that includes Razorback alum Graham Hood.
Arkansas hosts the John McDonnell Invitational this Thursday and Friday, April 7-8, with a total of 18 schools scheduled to compete. This will be the first of four outdoor meets the Razorbacks host at John McDonnell Field this season.
