Reporter thats what the man who lives nearby heard as officers opened fire to protect their colleague. Police tell us this happened around midnight last night. One officer was entering his car when the suspect in a silver isuzue suv came around the corner and collided with the officers vehicle, backed up and rammed the car again. The two other officers opened fire. You may be able to see where one of the shots pierced the windshield. The officer, remarkably, was not hurt seriouslseriously. The driver of the suv fled and abandoned the vehicle about a mile away. It turns out the suv was stolen. Police found the suspect nearby, took him in
