CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Clemson Tigers Women's Lacrosse team (9-5, 2-5 ACC) fell to the No. 4 Boston College Eagles (12-2, 6-1 ACC), 16-4, at Alumni Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Graduate Claire Bockstie recorded her 200th career goal in the third quarter. Through the first quarter, goalkeeper Emily Lamparter, who leads the ACC in saves, etched two more to her season total. The Eagle's offense had a hot start as they led 6-0 through the first 15 minutes despite the Tiger's defense. In the second quarter, Clemson's offense lit up to cut into Boston College's lead. Emma Tilson scored first for the Tigers as she converted a free position shot to tally her 22nd goal of the season. Then, just 28 seconds later, Jasmine Stanton scores an unassisted goal for her fourth of the season and the Tiger's second of the day. Clemson, SC Clemson concludes its men’s golf regular season at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial Tournament in Charlottesville, Va. April 8-9. The 13-team field will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday at the par 71 Birdwood Golf Course on the University of Virginia campus.The tournament is named in honor of former University of Virginia player Lewis Chitengwa, who was an All-American for the Cavaliers in 1995 and 1996. He finished seventh at the 1996 NCAA Championships where he also beat Tiger Woods to win the National Long Drive Contest.Tragically, Chitengwa contracted meningitis while playing on the Canadian Professional Tour at a tournament in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in the summer of 2001 and died at the age of 26.This year’s field for the Lewis Chitengwa will include four of the top 12 teams in the nation, featuring #6 Florida State, #10 Tennessee, #11 Arkansas and #12 Virginia. SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The Clemson Tigers dropped their Friday night match to Notre Dame as the Fighting Irish took the 4-1 win. Freshman Noa Vukadin recorded a singles victory on court four.In doubles, the Tigers were off to a strong start as the court three duo of Wissam Abderrahman and Max Damm secured a 6-1 win over the Notre Dame pairing of Lee and Zhang. The Fighting Irish was able to pick up wins on court one and two which allowed them to steal the doubles.The Tigers continued to battle in singles as Vukadin recorded a 6-1, 6-0 win over Notre Dame's Corsillo as the freshman only allowed his opponent to secure a single point throughout both sets.With victories on court one, three and five, Notre Dame was able to secure three singles wins to increase their lead by four and steal the 4-1 victory.Up next, the Tigers will head to Louisville to take on the Cardinals on Sunday, April 7.
