CLEMSON, S.C. - For the second consecutive-season, senior Ryuhei Azuma has been named to the All-ACC Singles Third Team as announced by the conference office on Thursday. This season, Azuma has recorded 12 singles wins for the Tigers as he primarily played on court one and occasionally played on court two for Clemson. The senior is 8-8 on court one and is undefeated on court two as he is 4-0 in the spring campaign playing number two. The Tiger was consistently ranked within the top 125 as he is currently ranked No. 94 in the nation in singles. Azuma also competed in doubles this season as he 2-3 this season with while playing alongside partners Wissam Abderrahman and Marko Mesarovic. The senior has now earned back-to-back conference honors as the Ishikawa, Japan native was all named to the All-ACC Third Team last season as he was the only Tiger to earn an All-ACC honors in the 2022-23 season. LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Clemson Tigers secured their first road win of the season with a 4-0 sweep over Louisville. The win marked the Tigers third conference-play victory and their 11th win of 2024 campaign. (Brandon Quote) The Tigers brought the energy early in doubles as the duo of Wissam Abderrahman and Max Damm were first to secure a victory as the took down Louisville's Nakanishi and Donnet 6-1, on court two. Louisville responded with a win on court three to even the doubles score, which left the No. 69 court one duo of Noa Vukadin and Max Smith to finish the job. With a 6-4 victory, Vukadin and Smith tabbed their 13th win of the season and awarded Clemson the doubles point as the Tigers took the 1-0 lead. SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The Clemson Tigers dropped their Friday night match to Notre Dame as the Fighting Irish took the 4-1 win. Freshman Noa Vukadin recorded a singles victory on court four.In doubles, the Tigers were off to a strong start as the court three duo of Wissam Abderrahman and Max Damm secured a 6-1 win over the Notre Dame pairing of Lee and Zhang.
