Fan Tests Positive For COVID-19 After Attending NXT Posted By: Joe West on Dec 18, 2020
It is being reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that a WWE NXT fan has tested positive for COVID-19 about a week after attending the taping before Thanksgiving.
The fan, who tested positive on December 1st and thus wasn t allowed into the taping on the following day, says they only went out to attend two things: NXT and a theme park.
Obviously, the theme park could have been the catalyst for testing positive for COVID-19, but it raises the worry that if this fan had it before attending the show, others may have been infected by it due to their attendance.
WWE will soon start building toward the 2021 Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
We know the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches will take place, and we also know Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE Universal Championship is being worked toward.
In addition, Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting The Hurt Business’ Bobby Lashley will be defending his United States Championship against Riddle.

Elias Recalls First WWE Tryout, NXT Management Putting Him On List To Be Fired, Lessons From William Regal December 17, 2020 | Posted by Blake Lovell
In a recent interview on Chasing Glory with Lillian Garcia, Elias discussed his first WWE tryout, NXT management putting him on the list to be fired, and much more. You can read his comments below.
Elias on his path to WWE and his first tryout with the company: “When I started training and getting into it – I had one goal in mind, and that was to make it to WWE. I saw on a website somewhere that FCW was having tryouts. All you had to do was pay $1,000 and get yourself there and you could have a tryout, which was a lot of money to me. I was working a job and maybe stocking shelves at a clothing store, and I was also going to school at the time. I paid the $1,000, I flew down to Florida, and for three days there, they drill you, grill you, and have you go through the whole ringer.
As announced on last night s AEW Dynamite, Cody and Brandi Rhodes are expecting their first child.
The announcement was made to the viewers during a vignette on the show, which you can check out here:
