Here is what he had to say: “What’s really going on is Tony Khan reached out, hired Sting to multi-year deal. He’s gonna have a variety of roles. I don’t know what they are exactly, but they’ll be in a creative capacity to where he’s a character on television. There’s a lot of ways to be a character on TV that’s been accepted by the audience nowadays that doesn’t include wrestling a match every week. Ryback Says He Was Promised A WWE Championship Run Which Never Happened Posted By: Ben Kerin on Dec 20, 2020 Former WWE Superstar Ryback revealed during the Angle podcast that when he was negotiating a new contract with WWE he was promised a WWE Championship run which never happened. “So my contract stuff had been going on for quite some time. The Intercontinental Championship got pulled off early because I didn’t sign the contract they offered. What they’ll do is put the title on you and then offer you a new contract. From a psychological standpoint a lot of people will sign that contract. So when I didn’t they cut my title run short because I was not happy with a lot of the things in there. We agreed to new figures and came to a deal, but I wasn’t going to sign over what they wanted me to sign over. That caused a major roadblock.

IMPACT Wrestling s Madison Rayne Reportedly Set to Retire from Professional Wrestling

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, IMPACT Wrestling star Madison Rayne is set to part ways from IMPACT, and will likely be moving on from the professional wrestling business altogether. The five-time IMPACT Knockouts Champion will be taking a full-time job outside of wrestling, seemingly putting an end to her 15-year wrestling career. Although she enjoyed most of her success in wrestling as part of the IMPACT roster, she also performed in Ohio Valley Wrestling, Ring of Honor Wrestling and SHIMMER Women Athletes.
